National park „Krka“

This national park is a vast and primarily unaltered area of exceptional natural value, situated  near the city of Šibenik. The travertine waterfalls of the Krka River are the fundamental phenomenon of this river. Travertine is a common feature of the surface waters of the Dinaric karst; only the most extraordinary travertine creates significant layers, which build the waterfalls seen on the Krka River. The travertine waterfalls of the Krka River are very fragile formations, and are sensitive to environmental change and all human activities – 7 of them are part of Krka river. Except for this phenomenon, there are about a hundred caves and pits along the course of the river, 40 of which are within the boundaries of Krka National Park. Here's a fun fact -  this area has the second highest density of lavender in Europe,  which allows the high frequency of wasps and bees, who are species to be preserved.

„Zrće“ beach

This world-famous beach is known for its music festivals, 24 hour parties and incredible open-air nightclubs looking out over the sea. It is a picturesque one kilometer long crescent of pebbles overlooking an island of Pag, with the mountains of the mainland rearing up on the horizon. Often reffered to as „Croatian Ibiza“ this beach has established itself as one of the best party destinations in Europe, with well-known clubs and music festivals held during summer. You name the DJ, and there is a 99% chance that s/he already played at the Zrće beach. It doesn't matter what time of the day it is, this is a place where partying just doesn't stop!

City of Nin

On a small island in the middle of a shallow lagoon the small town of Nin can be found with its old centre, connected to the mainland by two stone bridges. Fun fact - the smallest cathedral in the world and the coronation Church of St. Nicholas can be found here!  Nin has a rich cultural treasure, unspoilt nature, as well as remarkably beautiful surroundings.  Visiting „Kraljičina plaža“ or in translation -  the „Queen's beach“ is a must while visiting Nin – three kilometer long beach who got named after king Tomislav's wife who would love to visit this beach anytime they were near by. Really close to it, there is another attraction known for reliably curing chronic illnesses - medicinal mud. Beside the coastal part of this town,  city center offers interesting  custom that all Croatians are familiar with - touching the big toe on the statue of Grgur Ninski  brings good luck. Indeed, one foreign portal has included it among the ten most attractive world symbols of luck. It is worth giving it a try!

National park „Kornati“

Here is another stunning  35 kilometer long archipelago named after the largest island of Kornat which of the total land surface area, is made 85% of stone, and only 5% has been cultivated. The national park was declared in 1980., and includes 109 islands, of which 76 are less than 1 hectare in size, but is still the most dense archipelago in the Mediterranean Sea.  Apart from sea-gulls, which are the most numerous animals, there are some lizards and ring-snakes, and 69 varieties of butterfly, some amphibians and rodents. As regards marine life, the Kornati islands are typical of the Adriatic and the Mediterranean, but, due to the underwater relief, streams and special characteristics of the sea in this labyrinth, there are also some peculiarities: algae, coral and sponges. The rare mollusc „Pinna nobilis“ lives in the Kornati and is protected by law of illegal collecting.
